Regular Season Round 3: Taiyuan T. - Cathay Life 65-84

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Taiyuan Textile (2-1) against Cathay Life on Thursday night. Cathay Life were rolled over by Cathay Life (3-0) 84-65. The game was mostly controlled by Cathay Life. Taiyuan Textile managed to win fourth quarter 18-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cathay Life looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for the former international guard Yi-Feng Chen (170-84) who led her team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 assists. The former international power forward Liu Chun-Yi (180-81) helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international center Pei-Chen Tsai (186-84) with 20 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward His-Yeh Liu (172-91) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cathay Life will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Taiyuan Textile will play again against Cathay Life and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
