Regular Season Round 4: Bank of Taiwan - Pauian 75-71

Bank of Taiwan can celebrate their first win this season after five consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in , where they defeated Pauian (2-4) 75-71 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and international guard Wei-Che Lee (179-91) who added 14 points during the contest. At the losing side international power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 20 rebounds and the former international swingman Ching-Pang Lin (190-85) scored 12 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Bank of Taiwan went down to seventh position due to points difference. It was Pauian's third loss in a row. They dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Taiwan Beer. Bank of Taiwan will meet higher ranked KKL (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Pauian will play against the league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen having rather not much hope for a victory.
