The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Dacin Tigers (11-4) against sixth ranked Bank of Taiwan on Saturday night. Bank of Taiwan were defeated by sixth ranked Bank of Taiwan (5-10) 80-70. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Dacin Tigers. 25 personal fouls committed by Dacin Tigers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Li-Chuan Cheng (189-88) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds and international guard Wei-Che Lee (179-91) who added 16 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) with 15 points and 9 rebounds and guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bank of Taiwan have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 5-10 record. Dacin Tigers at the other side still keep top place with four games lost. Bank of Taiwan are looking forward to face bottom-ranked KKL (#7) in the next round. Dacin Tigers will play against the league's second-placed Fubon Braves (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
