13th ranked Afyon Bld (3-8) was outscored at home by second ranked Efes (10-2) with the biggest margin this round 140-83 on Saturday night. Efes dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Afyon Bld's 36. They outrebounded Afyon Bld 60-29 including a 46-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Efes looked well-organized offensively handing out 43 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Afyon Bld's players. Afyon Bld's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Efes have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 10-2 record behind leader Fenerbahce. Afyon Bld lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Buyukcekmece. Efes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Afyon Bld will play against Dacka (#4) and hope to secure a win.
