There was a minor upset when higher rankedKonya BBSK (4-4) lost at home to eleventh ranked Bordo (4-4) 81-74 on Sunday. Bordo made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Erkin Senel (191-1999) who scored that evening 23 points (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!) and American point guard JJ Frazier (178-1995, college: Georgia) supported him with 11 points and 6 assists. Five Bordo players scored in double figures. Bordo's coach Vasfi Basaran used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists by American forward Khalid Thomas (208-1999, college: Portland St.) did not help to save the game for Konya BBSK . Point guard Furkan Ayca (185-1999) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. Bordo moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 7 other teams including defeated Konya BBSK .
