Very important is a road loss of third rankedAnkaragucu (5-3) against fourth ranked Sigortam.net (6-2) on Monday night. Visiting Ankaragucu was defeated by Sigortam.net in a tough game in Balikesir 66-72 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ankaragucu. Sigortam.net made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Chris Lykes (169-1998, college: Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and naturalized Azerbaijani Orhan Haciyeva (200-1989) who added 7 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Hakan Yapar (202-1984) responded with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and American-Bulgarian guard Brandon Young (193-1991, college: DePaul, agency: BIG) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Ankaragucu's coach Hakan Koktas rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sigortam.net moved-up to third place. Ankaragucu at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost.
