Regular Season Round 10: Ankaragucu - Anka Spor 90-71

Bottom-rankedAnka Spor (0-10) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 90-71 loss to fourth ranked Ankaragucu (7-3) in Ankara. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward CJ Elleby (198-2000, college: WSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Muhammed Baygul (191-1992, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Five Ankaragucu players scored in double figures. Point guard Kaan Onat (195-2007) replied with 13 points and 4 assists and Erbey Paltaci (203-2004, agency: Octagon Europe) added 10 points in the effort for Anka Spor. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ankaragucu moved-up to third place, which they share with Erokspor. Anka Spor at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost.
