Rather predictable result when thirteenth rankedYalova Vip (4-9) won against bottom-ranked Gallardo (1-12) in Ankara 82-76 on Friday. Yalova Vip looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international forward Seda Tabakci (188-1985) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and Senegalese swingman Yacine Diop (178-1995, college: Louisville) accounted for 24 points and 4 assists. Four Yalova Vip players scored in double figures. Yalova Vip's coach Cigdem Balcan used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Jazmin Harris (190, college: NC A&T) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 17 rebounds (made all of her thirteen free throws !!!) and point guard Simay Oget (165-2001) added 16 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for Gallardo in the defeat. Yalova Vip maintains thirteenth place with 4-9 record. Gallardo lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost.
