TKBL top team -Ferhatoglu (13-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Mersin Secil (7-6) in Balikesir 77-64 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mersin Secil. Ferhatoglu forced 19 Mersin Secil turnovers. American center Channon Fluker (193-1997, college: CSUN) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and Fatmanur Karakas (168-2001) chipped in 16 points. Four Ferhatoglu players scored in double figures. Ferhatoglu's coach Alper Durur allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American center Kurstyn Harden (190-2000, college: SF Austin) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and Elif Ayhan (-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists.
