There was no surprise when 8th rankedMersin Secil (7-8) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Adana (9-6) 87-52 on Saturday. Adana looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Mersin Secil 's players. It was a great evening for Sevgi Yasa (-1998) who led her team to a victory scoring 28 points and 4 assists. Ilknur Cetin (-1996) helped adding 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Adana players scored in double figures. Adana's coach Selen Erdem felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Elif Ayhan (-2001) with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and American center Kurstyn Harden (190-2000, college: SF Austin) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Adana maintains fifth place with 9-6 record, which they share with Fenerbahce G. Mersin Secil lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Burhaniye and Urla.
