Very predictable result when second rankedTurgutlu (12-3) outscored on the road 12th ranked Bursa U. (5-10) 83-47 on Saturday. Turgutlu dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Bursa U. 's 32. Turgutlu forced 22 Bursa U. turnovers and outrebounded them 50-25 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Turgutlu looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Bursa U. 's players. It was a great evening for American forward Dejah Terrell (185-1999, college: California, PA) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Sumeyya Ozcan (160-1997) helped adding 12 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Four Turgutlu players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Efsun Celik (-2001) with 10 points and Ipek Garip (-2002) scored 9 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Turgutlu . They maintain second place with 12-3 record having just three points less than leader Ferhatoglu, which they share with Canakkale. Bursa U. lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with ten games lost. They share it with Edirne.
