Regular Season Round 17: Erokspor - Anka Spor 93-76

TBL top team -Erokspor (13-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eighteenth ranked Anka Spor (0-17) in Istanbul 93-76 . Strangely Anka Spor outrebounded Erokspor 43-30 including a 24-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Erokspor players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Anka Spor 's players. Yigit Sarikaya (202-1999) stepped up and scored 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and center Metehan Akyel (206-1996) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Erokspor players scored in double figures. Center Salih Altuntas (208-2006) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and guard Yaman Alisan (193-2006) scored 19 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Erokspor have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-4 record. Anka Spor at the other side still closes the standings.
