Not a big story in a game when 12th rankedEdirne (5-11) lost to third ranked Turgutlu (13-3) in Manisa 57-72 on Saturday. Turgutlu looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by American forward Dejah Terrell (185-1999, college: California, PA) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and Ronahi Kiran (-2000) supported her with 12 points and 4 assists. Five Turgutlu players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds by American center Zakyia Weathersby (188-1998, college: UAB) did not help to save the game for Edirne . Canan Karsavran (-1992) added 8 points and 10 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
