Undefeated leaderFerhatoglu delivered the eighteenth consecutive win on Friday night. This time they beat 10th ranked Emlak 2 (8-10) 71-62 in Balikesir. Ferhatoglu forced 25 Emlak 2 turnovers and had a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American center Channon Fluker (193-1997, college: CSUN) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 21 rebounds. Forward Irem Topuz (176-1997) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Eda Balkan (-2004) who recorded 13 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Ceren Akpinar (175-2005) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ferhatoglu (18-0) have an impressive 18-game winning streak.
