Regular Season Round 18: Kayseri - Tarsus 77-58

There was a minor upset when 9th rankedTarsus (5-11) was rolled over on the road by eleventh ranked Kayseri (5-10) 77-58 on Sunday. Kayseri dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Tarsus ' 32. American guard Aerial Powers (180-1994, college: Michigan St.) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Senegalese forward Sokhna Fall (185-2003, college: Casper CC) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Kayseri players scored in double figures. Kayseri's coach Emre Ozsari used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Jillian Alleyne (190-1994, college: Oregon, agency: LBM Management) with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and Australian point guard Shyla Heal (167-2001, agency: LBM Management) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Kayseri moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Botas and Kocaeli. Loser Tarsus dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Ormanspor.
