An interesting game took place in Ankara where higher rankedKirklareli (12-8) was upset on the court of fifteenth ranked Cankaya (6-14) 87-82 . Cankaya made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 34 Kirklareli turnovers. Cankaya players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by Irem Akat (-2001) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 assists and Isilay Egin (190-2001) supported her with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Even 36 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds by American guard Doniyah Cliney (182-1996, college: S.Carolina) did not help to save the game for Kirklareli . Dilara Gocmen (-2002) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Cankaya moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Yalova Vip and Mersin G. Newly promoted Kirklareli keeps the fifth position with eight games lost.
