Very predictable result in Balikesir where fifth rankedAnkaragucu (14-8) defeated 12th ranked Bordo (11-12) 67-60 on Sunday. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was forward CJ Elleby (198-2000, college: WSU) who scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Marlain Veal (175-1996, college: SE Louisiana) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Ankaragucu's coach Hakan Koktas used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was center Eric Buckner (208-1990, college: Georgia St.) who recorded 19 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and point guard JJ Frazier (178-1995, college: Georgia) added 9 points and 5 assists respectively. Ankaragucu moved-up to fourth place. Bordo lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 12 games lost.
