Not a big story in a game when 10th rankedEdirne (9-14) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Kirklareli (14-9) 78-67 on Sunday. Kirklareli forced 19 Edirne turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Doniyah Cliney (182-1996, college: S.Carolina) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Erdenay Topcu (170-2000) chipped in 13 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Five Kirklareli players scored in double figures. American center Zakyia Weathersby (188-1998, college: UAB) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Betul Gulec (183-1997) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kirklareli moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Burhaniye. Edirne at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Urla and Emlak 2.
