Very expected game when 14th rankedCankaya (8-17) lost on the road to second ranked Canakkale (20-5) 71-62 on Friday. Canakkale forced 22 Cankaya turnovers. Simge Tokmak (184-2003) nailed 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and forward Asli Sevinc (178-1979) accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds. Isilay Egin (190-2001) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and Sule Aktas (-1998) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Cankaya in the defeat. Four Cankaya players scored in double figures. Cankaya's coach Cagri Ozek rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Canakkale .
