Rather predictable result in Istanbul where twelfth rankedFenerbahce (14-14) edged 14th ranked Cedi Osman (10-17) 76-73 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fenerbahce 2 made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Ben Shungu (188-1997, college: Vermont) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 4 assists and guard Yigit Ozkan (191-2001) who added 12 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Jordan Barnes (178-1997, college: Indiana St.) responded with 27 points and 9 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and Deniz Cevik (194-1994) scored 20 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fenerbahce 2 moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Bordo and Haremspor. Newly promoted Cedi Osman dropped to the sixteenth position with 17 games lost.
