Regular Season Round 27: Turgutlu - Urla 75-64

Very predictable result in Manisa where fourth ranked Turgutlu (19-8) beat 11th ranked Urla (10-17) 75-64 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American forward Dejah Terrell (185-1999, college: California, PA) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Point guard Sumeyya Ozcan (160-1997) helped adding 17 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. The best for the losing side was Sevval Oyan (-1998) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Eda Sahin (169-1999) scored 13 points and 4 assists. The victory was the third consecutive win for Turgutlu. They maintain fourth place with 19-8 record. Loser Urla keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Turgutlu will meet Cankaya (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Urla will play against Emlak 2 in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
