No shocking result in a game when ninth rankedBursaspor (10-12) beat at home 14th ranked Merkezefendi (6-16) 98-90 on Sunday. Bursaspor outrebounded Merkezefendi 44-29 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bursaspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Jaylon Brown (183-1994, college: Evansville) notched 29 points to lead the effort and American-Qatari forward Donte Grantham (203-1995, college: Clemson) supported him with 12 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Bursaspor's coach Serhan Kavut used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 23 points and 7 rebounds by Belgian Hans Vanwijn (207-1995) did not help to save the game for Merkezefendi . Belgian forward Vrenz Bleijenbergh (208-2000) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bursaspor moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Turk Telekom. Loser Merkezefendi keeps the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Manisa.
