Very expected game when 13th rankedCankaya (9-19) was smashed by fourth ranked Turgutlu (20-8) in Ankara 91-70 on Friday. Turgutlu made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Turgutlu outrebounded Cankaya 34-22 including a 25-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Turgutlu looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The winners were led by point guard Sumeyya Ozcan (160-1997) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 assists and 6 steals and Deniz Ustun (-1999) supported her with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Even 21 points and 6 rebounds by Isilay Egin (190-2001) did not help to save the game for Cankaya . Irem Akat (-2001) added 12 points and 4 steals for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
