Very expected game when 13th rankedEdirne (9-20) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked Adana (21-8) 83-55 on Saturday. Adana dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Edirne 's 30. Adana forced 21 Edirne turnovers and outrebounded them 41-26 including 32 on the defensive glass. Adana looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Edirne 's players. The best player for the winners was guard Ceren Gokdemir (177-1992) who scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Sevgi Yasa (-1998) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Adana players scored in double figures. Adana's coach Selen Erdem felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Banu Toker produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Sena Ozekli (-2000) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Adana moved-up to third place, which they share with Turgutlu. Edirne lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 20 games lost. They share it with Cankaya.
