There was no surprise when 16th rankedCedi Osman (11-22) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Konya BBSK (18-15) 96-84 on Sunday. Konya BBSK made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game, while Cedi Osman only scored six points from the stripe. Konya BBSK looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard New Williams (185-1996, college: Fresno St.) who scored 28 points and 7 assists. His fellow American import forward Khalid Thomas (208-1999, college: Portland St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Serhat Ugur (192-1985) who recorded 23 points and 7 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and forward Murat Erensoy (201-1991) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Cedi Osman's coach Abdulkadir Serdar rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Konya BBSK moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Haremspor. Cedi Osman lost fourth consecutive game. Cedi Osman at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixteenth position with 22 games lost.
