There was a surprise result when fifteenth rankedManisa (9-19) crushed higher ranked Galatasaray (14-14) in Istanbul 94-75 on Friday. Manisa shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. The winners were led by American Fabian White Jr (202-1998, college: Houston) who scored that evening 18 points and 6 rebounds and South Sudanese-Australian center Lual Acuil (213-1994, college: Baylor) supported him with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Manisa players scored in double figures. Even 8 points and 9 rebounds by Dominican center Angel Delgado (210-1994, college: Seton Hall) did not help to save the game for Galatasaray . The former international guard Ahmet Tuncer (194-1993) added 11 points and 5 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Manisa moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Darussafaka. Galatasaray lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Mersin BBGSK.
