No shocking result in a game in Istanbul where third rankedEfes (23-7) smashed 7th ranked Galatasaray (14-16) 87-53 on Tuesday. Anadolu Efes dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Galatasaray 's 32. The former international point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-1996) scored 21 points and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Nigerian-American Jordan Nwora (203-1998, college: Louisville) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American James Palmer Jr (198-1996, college: Nebraska) with 12 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Tyrone Wallace (196-1994, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 10 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Efes have an impressive five-game winning streak. Anadolu Efes moved-up to second place, which they share with Besiktas. Galatasaray lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 16 games lost.
