No shocking result in a game when fourth rankedBahcesehir (6-1) beat 12th ranked Merkezefendi (2-5) in Istanbul 85-67 on Saturday. Bahcesehir made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Trevion Williams (206-2000, college: Purdue) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import guard Malachi Flynn (185-1998, college: SDSU) accounted for 12 points and 5 assists for the winning side. German center Mahir Agva (206-1996) came up with 9 points and 11 rebounds and French Malcolm Cazalon (198-2001, agency: Network Sports International) added 14 points respectively for Merkezefendi in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bahcesehir moved-up to second place, which they share with Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce. Merkezefendi lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
