Very predictable result when sixth rankedTurgutlu (5-3) rolled over 13th ranked Bodrum (1-6) in Manisa 87-63 on Saturday. Turgutlu forced 19 Bodrum turnovers and outrebounded them 44-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. Turgutlu looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by American guard Caterrion Thompson (175-1998, college: MSU) who scored that evening 20 points and 5 rebounds and Deniz Ustun supported her with 18 points. Four Turgutlu players scored in double figures. Even 23 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Bre Gunnels (185-1999, college: UNI) did not help to save the game for Bodrum . Simge Ozkutlu added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Turgutlu have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 5-3 record. Bodrum lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with six games lost. They share the position with Edirne.
