Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Istanbul:Fenerbahce (#3) and Erokspor (#6). Erokspor was defeated at home 80-94 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Erokspor. Fenerbahce made 27-of-34 charity shots (79.4 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Erokspor was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by American point guard Wade Baldwin IV (193-1996, college: Vanderbilt) who scored that evening 11 points and 6 assists and the other American import power forward Armando Bacot Jr (211-2000, college: UNC) supported him with 15 points. Even 19 points by American guard Jermaine Love (191-1989, college: UIS) did not help to save the game for Erokspor . Canadian-Slovenian point guard Kevin Pangos (186-1993, college: Gonzaga) added 10 points and 7 assists for the hosts. Five Fenerbahce and four Erokspor players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fenerbahce (7-1) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion (7-1) moved-up to second place, which they share with Bahcesehir. Newly promoted Erokspor keeps the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
