There was a minor upset in Tarsus where 11th rankedFenerbahce (2-4) was defeated by thirteenth ranked MSK (2-4) 94-90 on Sunday. Mersin Spor outrebounded Fenerbahce 56-39 including a 40-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mersin Spor looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Anil Alyanak had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Ahmet Duysak (200-2007) chipped in 10 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Omer Sik with 28 points and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Mersin Spor and four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Mersin Spor moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated Fenerbahce.
