No shocking result in a game when seventh rankedBesiktas (6-3) smashed on the road 12th ranked Trabzonzpor (3-6) 88-69 on Saturday. Besiktas outrebounded Trabzonzpor 45-30 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Besiktas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Erkin Kas (201-2008) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and Yigit Toka (-2007) who added 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Besiktas players scored in double figures. Sirac Ariman responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and Efe Bastas (-2008) scored 8 points and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Besiktas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Karsiyaka. Trabzonzpor lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with six games lost. They share it with Mersin Spor.
