Very expected game in Istanbul where 11th rankedDarussafaka Lassa (8-15) was defeated by sixth ranked Goztepe (14-9) 80-64 on Monday. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jordan Barnes (178-1997, college: Indiana St.) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds and Senegalese center Abdoulaye Gueye (206-1994, college: Georgia Tech) who added 22 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Goztepe's coach Ahmet Demirci used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Eray Aydogan (185-2000) with 11 points and 6 assists and American point guard Tavian Dunn-Martin (173-1998, college: FGCU) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Goztepe maintains sixth position with 14-9 record. Darussafaka lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Kocaeli and Cedi Osman.
