There was a minor upset in Istanbul where 10th rankedDarussafaka Lassa (10-16) was outplayed by twelfth ranked Cedi Osman (10-16) 109-75 on Monday. Cedi Osman dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Darussafaka Lassa 's 46. Cedi Osman looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Darussafaka 's players. It was a great evening for American power forward Julien Ducree (206-1997, college: Utah Tech) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Maurice Watson (178-1993, college: Creighton) helped adding 13 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists. The best for the losing side was Serbian power forward Aleksandar Zecevic (207-1996, college: FAU) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and center Ismail Karabilen (206-2001) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Cedi Osman moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Darussafaka and Haremspor.
