We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th rankedMersin Secil (9-16) was smashed by eleventh ranked Emlak 2 (10-16) in Istanbul 74-46 . Emlak 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Mersin Secil 's 14. They outrebounded Mersin Secil 41-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Emlak 2 players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Ceren Akpinar (175-2005) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Asya Ulker (-2005) who added 14 points, 6 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Four Emlak 2 players scored in double figures. Emlak 2's coach Benan Uyar felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Eslem Guler (180-2006) responded with 14 points and 4 assists and Sila Tuncdemir scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Emlak 2 moved-up to tenth place. Mersin Secil lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with 16 games lost.
