Turgutlu outrebounded Yalova Vip 48-28 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Turgutlu players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. American forward Mikayla Cowling (188-1996, college: California, agency: LBM Management) stepped up and scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and point guard Sumeyya Ozcan (160-1997) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side Ilknur Yildizhan (186-1996) responded with 18 points and American forward Chantae Embry (185, college: SMU) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five Turgutlu and four Yalova Vip players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
