Top rankedSambir (13-2) recorded its second loss in Mykolaiv on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked MBC-Niko 2 (11-3) 80-73 . The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sambir won fourth quarter 20-19 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Bogdan Lukian (183-1999) who scored 17 points and 7 assists. Forward Dmytro Lykhoy (202-2001, agency: BIG) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Nigerian-Russian center Aleksey Adediran (206-1982, college: Binghamton, agency: BIG) who recorded 26 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Oleksandr Sizov (197-1988) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively. MBC-Niko 2 maintains third position with 11-3 record having just three points less than leader Sambir. Sambir at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost.
