Finals Game 1: Frankivsk - Interkhim 82-56

It looked good early as Interkhim took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Frankivsk had a 15-6 second period charge getting the lead and Interkhim was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 56-82. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Interkhim to just 6 points in second quarter.Frankivsk forced 23 Interkhim turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Frankivsk players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The former international point guard Olha Alekseychuk (166-1992) stepped up and scored 14 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners and the former international forward Oksana Mollova (188-1988, agency: BIG) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Four Frankivsk players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Diana Bondaryuk (198-1985) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Kseniia Pankina (179-2002) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
