Very significant wasFrankivsk 's (#2, 8-4) victory against 4th ranked Kyiv Basket (3-11) 81-51 . The game was mostly controlled by Frankivsk. Kyiv Basket managed to win second period 21-20 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Frankivsk looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Olha Sivakova (166-1992) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Bohdana Lapkhan (173-2004) who added 20 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Frankivsk players scored in double figures. Vladyslava Kiba (178-2002, agency: BIG) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Maryana Samsonova (183-2009) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains second position with 8-4 record having four points less than leader Budivelnyk. Kyiv Basket lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Vinnytsia.
