Regular Season Round 12: DiDiBao - Che-Basket 90-58

Very expected game in Kamianets-Podilskyi where 6th rankedChe-Basket (6-12) was crushed by second ranked DiDiBao (13-5) 90-58 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by DiDiBao. Che-Basket managed to win third quarter 23-18 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. DiDiBao dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Che-Basket 's 32. DiDiBao forced 23 Che-Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 50-35 including 35 on the defensive glass. DiDiBao looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Che-Basket 's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Eric Butler (193-2001, college: Rio Grande) who scored 15 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals. Mikita Bondarenko (199-2000) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four DiDiBao players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Nikita Beshetia (198-2008) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and guard Ihor Fedchuk (184-1998) added 21 points respectively. DiDiBao maintains second position with 13-5 record having just one point less than leader Khmelnytskyi. Che-Basket lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost.
