Very significant wasFrankivsk 's (#2, 8-4) victory against 4th ranked Kyiv Basket (3-11) 89-75 . The game was mostly controlled by Frankivsk. Kyiv Basket managed to win third quarter 25-22 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
