Semi-Finals Game 2: Interkhim - Frankivsk 76-86

Interkhim was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 51-39 second half run of Frankivsk . They also forced 19 Interkhim turnovers. Strangely Interkhim outrebounded Frankivsk 42-26 including 17 on the offensive glass. The former international point guard Olha Sivakova (166-1992) notched 16 points, 9 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and center Iryna Bugayova (185-2005) supported her with 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Even a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds by forward Viktoriya Ivanova (180-1987) did not help to save the game for Interkhim . Guard Marina Petrzhyk (167-2002) added 16 points and 4 assists for the hosts. Five Frankivsk and four Interkhim players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
