Bucaneros surged ahead in the semifinal series versus Marinos following a comfortable home win in Game 3. Marinos were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) who led the winners and scored 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import swingman Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) accounted for 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Five Bucaneros players scored in double figures. American guard Gerald Fitch (191-82, college: Kentucky) came up with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international swingman Oscar Torres (198-76, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points respectively for Marinos in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
