Very expected game when 7th ranked CroatianZagreb (4-10) lost at home to third ranked Bulgarian Montana (10-5) 80-66 on Wednesday. Montana outrebounded Zagreb 45-33 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Montana looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Zagreb 's players. It was an exceptional evening for guard Yanina Todorova (178-1999, college: Fresno St.) who led the winners and scored 18 points. Forward Yuliyana Valcheva (183-1999, college: UIW) accounted for 8 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Montana's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Meghan Boyd (155, college: Colorado St.) came up with 28 points and point guard Hana Arnautovic (174-2007) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Zagreb in the defeat. Montana maintains third place with 10-5 record having just one point less than leader Buducnost. Loser Zagreb dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Partizan.
