Very important is a home loss of CroatianBrod na Savi against Slovenian Maribor on Sunday night. Host Brod na Savi was defeated by Maribor in a tough game in Slavonski Brod 70-74 . Maribor looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Lena Trantura (173-2007) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Tiana Meglic-Steharnik (180-2003) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 assists. Maribor's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Kiara Jackson (170, college: UNLV) produced 14 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and her fellow American import forward Tamia Ugass (190, college: UMKC) added 17 points respectively for the hosts. Five Maribor and four Brod na Savi players scored in double figures.
