WABA top team - BulgarianMontana (6-0) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat sixth ranked Croatian Zagreb (1-5) 92-85 . The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-13 . But Zagreb won second period 28-24 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for Finnish guard Linda-Lotta Lehtoranta (174-1991, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Venezuelan Daniela Morillo-Wallen (179-1995, college: Okla City) helped adding 19 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Four Montana players scored in double figures. Montana's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Bosnian point guard Dragana Domuzin (174-2000) responded with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Lea Hajdin (183-1998) scored 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Montana have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Zagreb lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with five games lost.
