Eighth-ranked AustrianUBI Graz (2-4) made lots of trouble for first ranked Croatian Brod na Savi (7-1) in Slavonski Brod on Sunday. Brod na Savi managed to secure only one-point victory 57-56 . However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was American forward Tamia Ugass (190-2003, college: UMKC) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds. point guard Klara Rimarcuk (173-2004) chipped in 13 points and 8 assists. Forward Simone Sill (182-1999) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Ukrainian Khrystyna Kulesha (185-2004) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Brod na Savi have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. UBI Graz lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Podgorica.
