Regular Season Round 9: TTT Riga - Siauliai 86-72

An interesting game for Latvian TTT Riga (4-3) which hosted in Riga 4th placed Lithuanian Siauliai (2-5). Third ranked TTT Riga managed to get a 14-point victory 86-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Siauliai. TTT Riga forced 22 Siauliai turnovers and outrebounded them 40-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. TTT Riga looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Mia Loyd (181-1994, college: N.Dakota, agency: LBM Management) nailed 28 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winning side and forward Ketija Vihmane (182-2001) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four TTT Riga players scored in double figures. Point guard Dalia Donskichyte (169-2000) came up with 13 points and 7 assists and forward Gabriele Sedereviciute (183-2004) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Siauliai in the defeat. TTT Riga maintains third place with 4-3 record having just three points less than leader Kibirkstis-MRU. Loser Siauliai dropped to the fifth position with five games lost.
