UndefeatedNeptunas (2-1) recorded its first loss in Vilnius. Visitors were rolled over by top-ranked Kibirkstis (3-0) 88-55 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Neptunas. Kibirkstis held Neptunas to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Giedre Labuckiene (192-1990) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Japreece Dean (168-1996, college: UCLA) who added 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Kibirkstis players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international Brigita Sinickaite (175-2001) responded with 10 points and 4 assists and American forward Caitlin Bickle (185-2000, college: Baylor) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kibirkstis have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 3-0 record behind leader LCC Klaipeda. Neptunas at the other side keeps the third place with one game lost.
