Important game to mention about took place in Kaunas. Eighth ranked Lithuanian Aistes-LSMU (1-3) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Latvian RSU (3-3) 57-54 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of RSU. Aistes-LSMU forced 24 RSU turnovers. had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Aistes-LSMU players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Enija Viksne (178-2004) with 10 points and 9 rebounds and forward Krista Lukasevica (186-2006) scored 13 points. Aistes-LSMU left bottom position moving up to seventh place. RSU at the other side keeps the fifth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
